Attorney Jorge Arcadio Salinas

Education: A Strong Academic Foundation in South Texas

Born and raised in McAllen, Texas, Jorge graduated Magna Cum Laude from Nikki Rowe High School. He pursued a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from the University of Texas-Pan American (UTPA). Furthering his education, Jorge concurrently completed a Doctor of Jurisprudence and a Master of Public Administration, specializing in Urban Management and Public Affairs, at St. Mary’s University School of Law. He was honored as a member of the Phi Alpha Alpha Honor Society. Jorge also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) with a focus on Risk Management from Texas A&M University School of Law.

A Commitment to Community Service

Before embarking on his legal career, Jorge taught Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to at-risk students at PSJA and later at San Antonio College. He also served at Texas RioGrande Legal Aid, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free civil legal assistance to underprivileged individuals. In addition, Jorge was the former Chairman of the Board for the Zoning Board of Adjustments in the City of McAllen.

Experience: A Record of Professional Excellence

Jorge has worked at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), where he contributed to the drafting of provisional patent applications in diverse fields such as microprocessors and organic chemical reagents. He is also a licensed Texas Insurance Adjuster, a role in which he aids clients in understanding their property damage claims and serves as an Umpire in the appraisal process. As a Mediator, Jorge has successfully resolved a wide range of legal disputes, including personal injury, storm damage, divorce, probate, and real estate cases, thereby saving both time and resources for all parties involved.

Diligence: Upholding the Values of Integrity, Respect, and Loyalty

Jorge is a distinguished member of the Texas Bar College, an honorary society that recognizes the best-trained attorneys in Texas.

Leadership: A Voice in Immigration and Nationality Law

As of May 2020, Jorge has been appointed by the State Bar President to serve on the Laws Relating to Immigration and Nationality Committee. The committee aims to study, educate, and make recommendations concerning immigration and nationality laws and their impact on the public. Jorge represents District 12, which encompasses a wide range of counties in Texas, including Atascosa, Brooks, Cameron, Dimmit, Duval, Frio, Hidalgo, Jim Hogg, Kenedy, La Salle, Maverick, McMullen, Starr, Webb, Willacy, Zapata, and Zavala.

Building a Legacy in Greenwood, Indiana

Jorge is currently setting down roots in Greenwood, Indiana, where his parents and family reside. With a strong commitment to community service, he looks forward to extending his expertise in helping the Latino community, particularly in the areas of immigration and estate planning.

Beatriz Aguilar, Paralegal

Attorney Roel Gutierrez

Roel Gutierrez is an experienced trial lawyer with over 14 years of experience handling various criminal and civil matters. Mr. Gutierrez received his B.A. in English from Yale University in 2000. He graduated with his J.D. from St. Mary’s Law School in San Antonio in 2009. From 2010 to 2017, he worked at the Law Office of Robert J. Salinas in Donna, Texas. He represented the City of La Villa, the City of Elsa, the Donna Independent School District, and the Hidalgo Housing Authority.

Attorney Rebecca Saldaña

A Rio Grande Valley native born in McAllen, Rebecca started her legal career as a legal assistant at a local law office after graduating from Mission High School. Then, she was inspired to attend law school and become an attorney to help the oppressed and those who aspire to a better life.

She graduated from the University of Texas-Pan American with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She completed her Juris Doctor degree at the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Law. During her time in law school, she received the Voice for Justice Fellowship and the CALI Excellence Award, given to the student with the highest award for participating in the Immigration Law Clinic.

She studied Immigration Law as a student extern at the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service. She wrote appeals briefs supporting family visa petition decisions, prepared legal case summaries, and drafted pleadings in district court suits filed against the agency. She primarily focused on USCIS adjudications involving family-based visa petitions, including ineffective assistance of counsel, marriage fraud, derivative citizenship, foreign divorces, transgender relationships, and Western Hemisphere legislation. 

Rebecca is a licensed attorney and a Texas and Michigan State Bar member. She always knew she would return to the Valley and help clients with their Immigration and Family law cases. Rebecca comes from a long family line of law enforcement and is a former assistant district attorney for Hidalgo County in the Juvenile and Civil Department. Rebecca has always had a passion for helping those in need of assistance and has made it her life's goal to represent clients' family cases such as divorce, child support, and enforcement issues. Fluent in English and Spanish, she has also helped many clients with their immigration issues in South Texas.

Attorney Mary Pietrazek

Mary Pietrazek was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. After the attack on our country on 9/11, she join the US Air Force where she was selected for special assignment at Rammstein Germany, serving in the elite guard, security forces squadron guarding a four-star general during the Iraq/Afghanistan conflict. She met her husband in Germany while they were both in the military. They have been married for 18 years now and have three children. Their oldest will be graduating from Central Catholic high school in the spring. Their daughter is a sophomore at Incarnate Word, High School and they’re adorable 9 year old is currently in fourth grade. 

After four years in the military, she obtained her bachelors degree in business before enrolling in St. Mary’s University School of Law and School of Business where she obtained her Doctorate in Jurisprudence and Masters in Business Administration. She has owned and operated her own law firm since the day she was license to practice law in 2016 and currently employs a team of 3 dedicated individuals. Her office mission statement is “Pietrazek Law strives to provide a higher level of service than expected. We will work hard on each case and treat our clients with respect and understanding. Whatever your legal issue may be, nobody cares more, or will dedicate themselves to you the way we will.” 

She truly believes this is as a core tenant of her practice that service to those who hire her is one of her greatest responsibilities.
